Little Giant® chemical pumps utilize an innovative dual magnet design to drive the pump impeller, eliminating wear and maintenance problems associated with mechanical and other shaft seals. The design prevents contamination, pressure leakage and other rotating shaft problems. The Magnetic strength between the drive magnet and impeller magnet exceeds the torque of the motor when pumping water at full flow as indicated on the performance curve. This eliminates problems with magnetic decoupling.

Designed for diverse applications

MD SERIES. For mildly corrosive fluids such as low concentrations of acids and alkalis in the 5-9 pH range, and temperatures up to 150° F.

MD-SC SERIES. For semi-corrosive acids, alkalines and salt solutions at fluid temperatures up to 150° F.

MD-HC SERIES. Resistant to a broad range of highly corrosive chemistries and most solvents, at fluid temperatures up to 200° F. While not recommended, pumps in the MD-HC Series can run dry for up to eight hours with no apparent damage.

MD-CK SERIES. Resistant to a broad range of highly corrosive chemistries and up to 200° F. The MD-CK Series' impeller bushing is impervious to many fluids and long-lived in abrasive solutions.

Spindle shaft supported at both ends to prevent impeller damage during start-up and stop.
Magnet housing insulates fluid from heat transfer from motor.
Wide selection of materials for pump wetted components to provide best chemical resistance for application.
Threaded intake and discharge ports are USA standard taper pipe thread (NPT).
Motors designed to run cooler under maximum load and continuous operation.
Motors have built-in overload protection.
Most pump models UL Listed or UL Component Recognized and CSA Component Certified.

    MD SERIES FEATURES

1-EUAA-MD is dual purpose, it can run inline OR submerged.
Non-submersible pumps with leakproof seal-less magnet drive.
Except where noted, all models have titanium shaft and thrust washers for excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
High quality, uncoated ceramic (barium ferrite) driven magnet.
Glass-filled polypropylene pumping head and impeller.
Nitrile O-ring.

    HC SERIES FEATURES

Run-Dry capability - although no pump should be operated dry, these pumps can be run dry for up to eight hours without apparent damage.
Non-submersible pumps with leakproof seal-less magnet drive.
99.5% pure alumina ceramic shaft and thrust washers for long, trouble-free service in use with harsh solutions.
Self-lubricating carbon impeller bushing which is impervious to many fluids and long-lived in harsh solutions.

    CK SERIES FEATURES

Volute, magnet housing and impeller are carbon-filled Kynar® (PVDF) for excellent chemical resistance.
Self-lubricating carbon-filled Teflon® (Chemloy) impeller bushing or mica-filled Teflon® bushing, is impervious to most fluids and long-lived in harsh solutions.
Encapsulated carbon-filled Kynar® impeller magnet.
Ceramic shaft and thrust washers 99.5% pure alumina for long, trouble-free service in use with harsh solutions.
O-rings in MD-CK Series pumps are Viton®.
